Intensives & Retreats

A physical stepping away to quiet the noise and tend to your soul.

The Sacred Act of Withdrawing

No matter how hard we try to cultivate peace in our daily routines, there are times when our environment simply holds too much noise. The constant ping of notifications, the piles of laundry, the demands of work, and the needs of others can create a static that makes it nearly impossible to hear the gentle voice of God or even our own thoughts.

Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus modeling a very specific, necessary rhythm: He continually withdrew to quiet places to pray.

Intensives and retreats are your invitation to do the same. This is not a vacation—which often leaves you needing another vacation to recover from it. Instead, this is a curated, restorative sanctuary. By physically stepping away from your ordinary life and entering a space explicitly designed for spiritual formation, you give your soul the necessary room to breathe, process, and deeply rest.

Two Ways to Step Away

1. Intensives
(One-Day & Mini-Retreats)

What they are: A profound reset, condensed into a single day or half-day. Intensives are guided, localized "mini-retreats" designed for the person who desperately needs to step away, but cannot leave town for an entire weekend. During an intensive, you will experience a dedicated block of time focused entirely on soul care, guided reflection, and quietness. It is a highly intentional "pause button" for your life, allowing you to return home that same evening feeling grounded and renewed.

Best for: Busy professionals, parents with young children, and anyone needing a powerful, time-efficient spiritual reset.

2. Immersive Retreats
(Multi-Day Experiences)

What they are: A complete physical and sensory immersion. Our overnight and weekend retreats are profound acts of stepping away. When you attend a full Qavah Life retreat, you are leaving your zip code, your to-do list, and your daily identity behind. I meticulously curate these shared experiences in beautiful, nurturing environments. These gatherings offer a rich blend of guided teaching, ample solitude, communal meals, and extended times of silence so you can experience a deep, unhurried connection with God.

Best for: Those craving deep rest, a complete change of scenery, and meaningful communal connection with kindred spirits.

What to Expect in These Spaces

Whether you join me for a 6-hour intensive or a 3-day retreat, every Qavah Life event is structured around these core pillars:

A Curated Environment: From the seating to the schedule, everything is designed to remove decision-fatigue. You don't have to plan or host; you simply get to be.

Guided Formation: You will receive gentle, structured teachings and reflection prompts to help guide your quiet time, so you aren't just sitting in silence wondering what to do.

Sacred Solitude & Safe Community: There is a beautiful balance of time spent alone with God and time spent connecting with others over shared meals and guided conversation. (And introverts, rejoice—your need for quiet and alone time is always deeply honored here!)

Unhurried Pacing: We leave the hustle culture at the door. The schedule breathes. There is time to walk, time to journal, time to nap, and time to simply sit.
